This is Running Waters, when we used to go fishing there with all the families, through Palm Valley way as well. Just mainly fishing, cooking, sitting at the fire site at night, listening to the owls. The owls used to make us scared so we’d go to bed early. Mostly we enjoyed making fire as kids, but we was very careful and our elders would tell us not to play with the fire. (Terracotta and Underglazes, 14 x 8)
