Marna-aiyua Peter (old food man Peter) everyone knows about him. He wasn't really aiyua (old man) then. Probably in his late 30s early 40s. And he's the one who came out in the early 1970s with his big transport truck with food in the back. Everyone got excited that he was coming out on certain days - we knew on the Outstation what days he was coming to visit us. You could hear him from a distance, he would put his truck horn on. We used to get so excited cos there was ice cream, lollies, chips and drinks. (terracotta and underglazes, 11 x 8cm)
