I’ve drawn the butterfly because growing up we used to see certain butterflies on certain places. It’s very rare to see butterflies. Growing up as a child, I don’t know, it was something. Like someone’s hanging around you in a good way, a spiritual way. Butterfly feels like a little spirit. Every time I see butterflies I think “oh, that’s out of the blue” you know. And different colours, different shapes. (Terracotta and Underglazes, 15 x 10cm)
