We call ilpatjina ‘long ears.’ The word for ‘ear’ is ‘ilpa’ and donkeys are referred to as ‘long ears’ or ilpatjina. They came here with white people. There are lots over Areyonga way.
In night time we see lots of donkeys Ilpatjina, on this highway. here in Ntaria and some out Areyonga way. We see little one laying down.
