Dennis joined Hermansnburg Potters in August 2025 as an art worker supporting the Men’s Development Program. He quickly became interested in art making and began learning to work with clay with his Uncle, senior artist Abel Pareroultja. In September 2025 he participated in a workshop series with renowned Dharug artist Billy Bain, gaining confidence as a sculptor and a new enthusiasm for clay work.
